Johnny Wise

John was born and raised in Bellevue, WA. He spent his youth chasing cutthroat and steelhead on the Snoqualmie and fishing the local lakes for trout He started going to the Methow in the summertime with his dad at age 14,and it became an annual ritual. It was the beginning of his fly fishing career so to speak.-By 17 he had his first drift boat, and spent many days skipping school to go fishing, including numerous frigid winter days on the Yakima trying to learn as much as he could in low water. Since then, he spent as much time as he could exploring and fishing different watersheds around the northwest. Fortunately, he eventually graduated from UW with a degree in PoliticalScience, and dedicated his days to fishing, learning, and teaching others about our sport and the incredible resources we have in Washington state.
