Coy grew up in Carnation, WA on the banks of the Snoqualmie River. Coy’s first trout came at 12 months old and he has been chasing tight lines ever since. From salmon and bottom fish out of Neah Bay, steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula and the S rivers of western Washington to Trout on local lakes and streams. Coy started fly fishing at 17 and took to it like a duck to water. While attending Central Washington University Coy discovered the Yakima River, where he refined his fly fishing skills every chance he had. Coy took his first guiding job on the infamous Kanektok River in western Alaska fly fishing for salmon and leopard rainbows. Coy is passionate about teaching others the ins and outs of fly fishing and enjoying every day on the water. Favorite One Hander- G Loomis
