The inspiration gathered from the
sight of a rising fish is compared to none; without even casting to a sipping
swimmer an angler can become mesmerized by the sight. It is as if it is a phenomenon
of another world. It is a pleasure, joy and an honor to view such a spectacle.
The revelation that this creature is not rising for your benefit but merely for
its survival is a humbling thought. So often times we expect the rise, anticipate
and almost even demand it, when it is not of our doing or control. The priveledge
should be respected, never taken for granted and always cherished.
