and Kettle Rivers FYI - This particular clip is on the moving stretch of the Columbia where the river flows at anywhere between 2 to 7 miles mph. The fish is hooked at what we call 'Frustration Flats' and the river is actually moving according to our gps at anywhere between 2.2 to 4.7 miles per hour- Very deceiving river. Fly used - #6 Olive and Black BH/Rubber Legged Bugger - pink bead slid on the line before the fly was tied on - The fly was cast at a 90 degree from the boat and swung. The fish ate 1/2 way through the swing. Line - #6 Rio Outbound 7 foot leader - Terminal tippet - 10 lb Seagar Flouro Rod - 10 Foot 'Mystic' #7 Tobacco used - Copenhagen Waterside - 'Priceless' |
